Can you tell me something more about the working environment?
What are the goals of your company (sales department) in one, five and ten years time?
To whom it may concern, (敬启者)
Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Mr/Mrs/Ms +
I am writing in reference to…
I am writing to confirm/ enquire/ inform you…
I am delighted to give you the detail about…
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding …
Thank you for your email…
Thank you for calling me yesterday to discuss…
Attached please find the latest information on…
In order to achieve our sales target, we need to…
Could you please call me later today?
●商业信函中应注意使用书面语▶用 receive, 不用got;
●不要用缩写▶用 does not, 而不用doesn't;
I was wondering if you could provide some more details.
Please review the attached documents thoroughly.
4.结尾Closing
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I hope this information is helpful.
Please call me if you have any question.
Sincerely, Sincerely Yours,Yours Sincerely
Regards, Best Regards
Yours, Yours Truly, Truly
Best, Best Wishes
Sincerely,
John SmithSales Representative,
Flooring Company
1.Subject Line
Subject line: Summary of Our Meeting with ABC Suppliers
- Join us at the MLH Scholars Luncheon!(号召性的标题)- 3 Tools to Simplify Your Marketing (总结式的标题)
2.Simplified Sentences
In 1962 , Steinbeck received the Nobel Prize for Literature.
Steinbeck won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1962.
3.Who are readers?
Thanks for emailing me on 15th February.
正式–Thank you for your email dated 15th February.
Sorry, I can’t make it.
正式–I am afraid I will not be able to attend.
Can you…?
正式–I was wondering if you could….?
4.Get feedback
1. Introduction
James.
2. Get to the Point
3. Plan Speaking Order Ahead of Time 事前定好发言顺序
4. Steer Discussion Successfully
那么,如何有礼貌地引导对话方向非常重要(shape the flow of the conversation in a polite way)。
5. Give a Summary of the Call
(Give a tentative date for when you'll meet again),谢谢大家抽出时间参加电话会议。

Seller: This is our rock-bottom price, Mr. Lee.
Buyer: If that's the case. there's not much point in further discussion. We might as well call the whole deal off.
Seller: What I mean is that we:ll never be able to come down to your price. The gap is too great.
Buyer: I think it unwise for either of us to be inflexible. How about meetingeach other halfway?
Seller: What's your proposal?
Buyer: Your unit price is 100 dollars higher than we want. Well, I suggest wemeet each other half way.
Seller: Do you mean a further reduction of 50 dollars in our price? That'simpossible!
Buyer: What would you suggest?
Seller: The best we can do is another 30 dollars off. That's definitely the lowest we can go.
Buyer:That still leaves a gap of 20 dollars. Let's meet each other half-away again and split the difference; I think this is a price we can
both besatisfied with.
Seller: OK. We can meet half way again.
